If you have purchased a holiday home abroad as an investment, for holidays or for your retirement you will find HolidayPlace.net offers you an easy way to list your home on the internet for rentals. Its a great way to offset those ongoing costs of ownership when you are not on holiday yourself.
More and more people are seeking an alternative to the poor service and crowded environment often offered by package hotels.
One preferred solution is to go for private holiday rental direct from the owner. The types of holiday rental people look for are very varied so it does not matter whether your home is near the beach with a plentiful supply of restaurants for eating out or in a rural area with outdoor or adventure type activities
When you list your property at Holiday Place you can list the facilties you offer and the entertainment available by simply checking boxes with your mouse so its very quick to add most of the details of your holiday home.
We do realise that however many checkboxes and dropdowns we include there is something individual about your holiday home which is best descibed in text which is why there are also two short blocks of textual description on the page.
Photos take a little longer to load down than text which is why we have only included two per property in the normal listing. Another reason is that photos add to our administration costs.
The basic listing on Holiday Place which includes a detailed web page for every property will always be free however we shall be offering added value services in the form of an enhanced listing.
This service is not yet available but it will allow you to add additional photos and text and also the use of a booking calendar. The service we offer at Holidayplace is very much on a Do It Yourself basis. We will not change details or photographs for you. This low cost (free for basic listing) suits many of our clients but if you require personal service photo scanning and other individual attention this is offered through our companion site www.holidaynoticeboard.co.uk
You will realise that this type of service costs more and currently we charge £59-50 per year to advertise on Holiday Noticeboard.
Once you have listed your property then you will need to wait a little while before phone calls or emails come in.
Always reply to enquirers as soon as you can, it takes a little practice to give the right impression, be positive and helpful ask them if there is anything further thay would like to know about your property and when they are reasonably happy then offer a provisional booking pending receipt of payment and any written agreement.
