Sao Bartolomeu de Messines lies approximately 15km north of Albufeira in the central Algarve. This is a traditional Portuguese town with shops including pharmacy, bakery, a/c supermarket, indoor market & banks with ATM. There are an abundance of local country bars and restaurants in the surrounding area and most offer better value than the coastal resorts. Road links to the rest of the Algarve are good and there are a number of popular attractions within 30 minutes drive from Villa Feliz.
