Roses is located on the Mediterranean in the north-east of Catalonia. There are numerous activities suitable for the entire family, such as windsurfing, boat trips, parachuting, go-karting to name but a few. The town of Figueres where you can visit the museum of the artist Salvador Dali is 20 minutes away and his home is now open to the public in Port Ligat. A local market is held in Roses every Sunday. There are many lovely places to visit including Cadaques and various medieval villages such as Pals. The ceramic centre of La Bisbal is also within reach.
