Coxswains Cottage is a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom holiday home in the unique seaside village of Thopreness in Suffolk, just over a mile along the coast from Aldeburgh. The house has a small south-facing front garden, sitting room, kitchen/diner, 2 bedrooms,2 bathrooms, and a private rear courtyard. The house is in the centre of the village and is about 100m from the beach. Coxswains Cottage sleeps upto 4 people and is perfect for a family or couples, sorry no pets or smoking inside the cottage.

Thorpeness was created for families, and now 100 years later there is still lots to do. Golf, tennis, walking, bird-watching, sailing, fishing, boating (on the man-made boating lake opposite the cottage) are all within a short distance. Further afield there are the towns of Aldeburgh, Leiston, Woodbridge, Snape, Dunwich, Southwold, and Orford. RSPB Minsmere and the National Trust reserve at Dunwich Heath are within walking or cycle distance.
