Lovely quiet walks nearby if you want to get away from irt all and yet not be too far away from some towns this is the place.Close to main roads leading to all parts of Scotland, ideal for day trips to loch lomond or Dumfries and Galloway forest. Close to many famous golf courses where open championships held, Turnberry and Royal Troon.
